Rapper Soulja Boy has turned his back on his Twitter.com followers after deleting his account on the social networking website without giving any explanation for the move.

The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker, real name DeAndre Way, had been keeping over 2 million fans updated with his everyday thoughts and activities on the blog but his account was recently deactivated.

The hip-hop star failed to give fans a reason for his actions but the move could cost him big - earlier this year, Soulja Boy was reported to be earning up to $10,000 per tweet from his various sponsors, along with socialite and reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

Soulja Boy joins celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Chris Brown in the anti-Twitter club - both stars deleted their accounts last year.

Rapper Soulja Boy has dismissed reports he has been sentenced to 12 months' probation stemming from his arrest at a music video shoot in October. Police responded to complaints of noise coming from the Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker's shoot in Georgia, which involved a cast and crew of 40 people, including fans he had invited to participate.

The hip-hop star, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, fled on foot when cops arrived. He was later taken to Henry County jail, where he spent the night before he was released on bond.

Reports last month claimed he was charged with obstruction and sentenced to a year on probation, as well as having to pay a $1,000 Fine.

However, the 19 year old has shot down the allegations, insisting his record is clean.

He says, "I just want to let everybody know that I didn't get probation. That was like a news blast that was everywhere. I know there's like 12 months probation going around, but I just want to let all my fans know that I ain't got no record. I ain't got no probation or nothing. I did go to court, but I just had to pay a fine so I'm not on probation."

Rapper Soulja Boy has taken to Twitter.com to dismiss an alleged girlfriend's reports he's a cocaine fiend.

Self-proclaimed hip-hop groupie Kat Stacks filmed herself wandering around an apartment and claimed her hip-hop lover was taking a shower in another room as she revealed lines of cocaine he'd prepared on a table.

She also shot footage of her sitting in a sports car she claimed belonged to Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, and filmed herself allegedly speaking with the Superman hit-maker on the phone.

The films were posted online at the beginning of the week, and have now prompted the star to respond via Twitter.

He's particularly upset about the cocaine claims, but doesn't refute Stacks' claims he's dating her.  He tweets, "God knows I didn't do that (cocaine). that's all that matters."

Rapper Soulja Boy is facing legal action from a clothing designer over allegations he stole the company's catchphrase.

Clement Brown Jr., the owner of clothing line Laundry Money, has filed a lawsuit in Michigan accusing the Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker, his S.O.D. Money Gang Entertainment company, and several associates of taking the firm's slogan and using it as their 'code of honor'.

The four-line phrase, which begins, "Grind...hustle hard...double up...", is said to have been featured on Laundry Money t-shirts before it was allegedly adopted by the rapper and his pals. The star is even said to have inked the lines in a tattoo across his chest.

The lawsuit, which claims the words were copyrighted in 2008, seeks an unknown amount in damages as well as an injunction to prevent further use of the slogan, according to Allhiphop.com.

Ludacris Disturbs Tha Wedding Bells, "I've Learned So Much About Myself This Past 2 Years Through Rumors"

Grammy-winning rapper Ludacris has come forward to die down reports claiming he has turned in his bachelor card and become a married man.

Luda took to Twitter to kill the gossip and rumors from spreading further.

"I've learned so much about myself this past 2 years thru rumors, can u pls make up some more cause I can't wait 2 c what happens 2 me next!," he tweeted May 10th.
"RT @AnolahBlackFox: @ludacris I see u must have heard that ur a married man now lol -- I did!Just mad I'm the last one to find out about it!" (Ludacris' Twitter)

Speculation on the rapper's marital status changing hit the net earlier in the week.

Rapper/actor Ludacris has shot down reports he wed his student girlfriend. The Fast Five star took to his Twitter.com account to let fans know the truth after singer Monica appeared to welcome him to the family in a tweet on Friday morning. Monica is cousin to Ludacris' longtime girlfriend Euxodie. (Contact Music)

Outside of romance, Luda recently said he was focused on putting out a follow-up to 2010's Battle of the Sexes album.

"There's no way I can put it into words," Luda said referring to the new LP. "When you hear the album you'll know. People can expect me to take it to a level they know I'm capable of. If anybody has doubts, I have no problem continuing to prove myself. And I have no problem slapping the ones who're sleeping to make them wake up. It's about consistency...[Consistency means] having a perfect balance between always staying true to the hip-hop lyrists' roots, and also not pigeonhole myself; being able to work with people like Fergie, or Justin Bieber, or Enrique Iglesias. Who else is able to do those and still get on the 'Welcome to My Hood (Remix)' and kill sh*t - period?! That's what I think I've been able to consistently do." (All Hip Hop)

A few weeks ago, Luda revealed his intention to drop the LP before 2012.

Ludacris is prepping his eighth studio album, 'Ludaversal,' for a late 2011 release. During a visit to 102.7 KIIS FM's Ryan Seacrest morning show on Tuesday (March 29), the Atlantarapper confirmed that fans could expect a follow up to 2010's 'Battle of the Sexes' later this year. "I'm just getting started on it, so hopefully by the end of this year," Luda explained. The anticipated album will include production from the Neptunes. Besides the beatmaking duo of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, the 'My Chick Bad' performer declined to reveal more details. (The Boom Box)

Drake Raises Eyebrows W/ 'Throne' Reference, "Did [He] Send A Subliminal Shot At Hov & Ye?"

Young Money's Drake is being put into the spotlight just days after his "I'm On One" track debuted off DJ Khaled's upcoming We The Best Forever album with reports claiming shots may have been fired at Jay-Z and Kanye West.

While currently nothing more than speculation, reports claim Drizzy may have been taunting Jay and Ye's Watch the Throne joint album.

On the record "I'm On One" featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, Drizzy had listeners hitting the playback after his verse when he referenced a familiar album backed by two powerhouse rappers. "Hate the rumors hate the bulls--t hate these f---in allegations/im just feelin like the throne is for the taking. Watch me take it." Could the "throne" that Drake is referring to be the same throne that Jay-Z and Kanye West are currently warning competitors about on their upcoming album Watch The Throne? Did Drake send a subliminal shot at Hov and 'Ye? (RapFix)

Earlier this year, Drake playfully sent a few friendly blasts at the duo's upcoming collaborative project.

"I'll be on [Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV] -- we've done a great song...We're going to do another one... and another one. We still got to do that [collaboration] album. I heard two other guys are coming out with an album together, too. There's two other rappers [that] are coming out with an album together. I don't know where they got that idea but -- I caught wind of it through the grapevine that there's some other album with two guys rapping on it. [laughs]" ("Tim Westwood TV")

Prior to Wayne being released from jail over a gun conviction, Drake promised a joint album would be put together.

"I went up to Rikers, and me and Wayne agreed that there will be a Lil Wayne/Drake album," Drake told DJ Envy on MTV's "Sucker Free." " ... There's some things I'm excited for in my life -- I'm excited to go perform certain places -- but [this project] will probably be one of the most exciting things in my life, because we make music on a different level. It's just so fun, so comfortable. A whole album? To think about all the things we can do, especially if we're gonna do 15 songs. Me and him don't like to do 12, 13 [songs]. We want to do 15, 16. Yeah, Lil Wayne and Drake album." (MTV)

In addition to working on Jay's Blueprint III and recruiting Hov for their "Light Up" Thank Me Later collaboration, Drizzy is also a big fan of Kanye West.

"I'm very much looking forward to the Kanye West [My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy] album because I need to be scared and inspired for my second joint," Drake to radio personality Funkmaster Flex. "That ['Power'] record just had to happen. Kanye's a genius and I'm super excited for the rest of the album because I've heard some things that people haven't heard." ("Sucker Free")

Toccara: More Than a Model

Since first being introduced to Toccara Jones on Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model, it was evident that the young and energetic Ohio native was destined to take the industry by storm. Easily one of ANTM’s most recognizable former contestants, Toccara has managed to carve her own lane in the world of fashion and entertainment with spreads in Vogue Italia, Essence, and Ebony, in addition to becoming a host for BET’s Take the Cake. At a recent stop on the Hennessy Remixed Tour in New York, XXLMag.com caught up with the curvaceous model where she spoke about her upcoming dating show, her role as a contributing Style Editor for Essence Magazine and gave tips to the Eye Candies trying to kill the game. —Kai Acevedo & Ralph Bristout

XXL: So what projects are you currently working on?

Toccara: I’m a contributing Style Editor for Essence Magazine, so each month for like the past six months I have been in the publication. The first time they’ve ever used a curvy girl consistently like that, so make sure y’all go and pick up Essence and check me out giving tips to curvy girls. I’m with Wilhelmina Models and they’ve been working me like crazy. I’ve been doing a lot of jobs out in London. I’m the spokesperson for Hennessy, Ms. Lady Hennessy 2011 and we are here in New York with my Master Mixologist Jordan and we’re just educating all our Hennessey family and friends that Hennessey is mixable, that you could take VS, that you don’t have to just drink it straight or on the rocks or with some Coke. We have four flavors that go really well with Hennessey, which is our ginger, apple, berry and citrus. And I’m also gonna be doing Donald Trump Presents the Ultimate Merger on TV One this Fall.

XXL: How did you become Ms. Lady Hennessey?

T: I’ve been working with Hennessey for three years, so this is my third year and I like what they do and they like what I do.

XXL: So it was a perfect marriage?

T: Perfect marriage.

XXL: You mentioned working in London. How was that?

T: Oh London is amazing. I have a client over there called Evans and it’s a plus-size clothing line and their clothes are really trendy and really fashionable and you know they’re really good. Yeah, but I love it over there in London.

XXL: So are you dating anyone?

T: I’m not dating anyone right now. That’s why I’m doing Donald Trump’s the Ultimate Merger on TV One. Actually, it’s gonna be me and twelve bachelors. Donald Trump is actually the Executive Producer and he’s going to find me twelve guys to date, ’cause I’m looking for love. [Laughs]

XXL: How did you link up with Donald Trump for the show?

T: Through TV One.

XXL: Have you guys started shooting the show yet?

T: No. We start shooting that in a few days actually. Yeah, and it’s gonna air this Fall, so I’m excited and I can’t wait to see what they look like. [Laughs]

XXL: Is it gonna be filmed in New York?

T: It’s gonna be a place where there’s sun and the fun. Any way you wanna take it. All of the above. [Laughs]

XXL: Do you plan on being in any music videos?

T: You know what I need to. I didn’t have any plans, but now I’m making some. I’m making some plans to do some music videos. Why not? I like the music videos. The music videos are amazing these days. They’re like mini-movies. They’re really creative.

XXL: Is there any particular music video that you’re feeling right now?

T: I haven’t gotten the chance to watch any TV. I’ve been on the road so much, but you know what I do like Keri Hilson’s video ["The Way You Love Me"] that she got. When she she tearing it up. She doing her dance. She working it. I’m like, “Go Keri, go Keri.” Ms. Keri baby! I love it. I think it’s hot.

XXL: What music are you listening to?

T: I like Wiz Khalifa. I’m digging his music.

XXL: What are five things an Eye Candy should do to get right for the summer?

T: You know what? There’s nothing new under the sun. I mean you should drink plenty of water. [Laughs] Drink plenty of water, you should exercise, you should eat right, you should—

XXL: Drink Hennessy

T: [Laughs] You should practice your poses. Shit, for real. Practice makes perfect. They should practice their poses and what else should they do? Take their makeup off every night.

SOULJA BOY OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES ‘SOULJAWORLD’ APPLICATION
Be next to rise in the world of Hip Hop. Click Here to get the BluePrint....Hip Hop Early
OFFERS THE ABILITY TO SOCIALLY NETWORK WITH SOULJA BOY SWAG

Los Angeles, CA – November 30, 2010 - On November 30 Soulja Boy officially launched ‘SouljaWorld,’ a location-based social media application that will allow users to log on and ‘check-in’ from various locations and connect with people using Soulja Boy related digital content. The application not only uses check in type social network methods made popular from applications such as Foursquare and Gowalla, but with ‘SouljaWorld’ you will also receive exclusive updates on new Soulja Boy music, video content and upcoming tour dates. In addition, ‘SouljaWorld’ users are offered Soulja Boy inspired badges that are referred to as ‘tattoos’ and include names like ‘Pretty Boy Swag’, ‘Pretty Girl Swag’ and ‘Stacks On Deck.’

Soulja Boy enters the social media application world with excitement stating, “I’m giving my fans a place for them to communicate and connect with me and each other from anywhere, at any time.”

SouljaWorld caters to the large and digital-savvy fanbase that Soulja Boy already has, and provides them with another tool, this time in the mobile space, with which to engage. The app introduces geolocation technology to an entirely new demographic that extends even beyond Soulja Boy fans. SouljaWorld is geared toward a more youthful and, perhaps, cooler demographic than other similar applications of its kind.

“’With the ‘SouljaWorld’ app, I’m taking Foursquare to the next level and putting my swag into it.”

The app also features integration with Soulja Boy’s blog web site, SouljaBoyHD.com. From SouljaWorld, fans can update their user profile status via check-ins through the iPhone application.

SouljaWorld leverages its geolocation technology and game mechanics from San Francisco based start-up DoubleDutch. Using the DoubleDutch platform, the SouljaWorld community can stay connected and compete for points and swag.

Soulja Boy’s new album ‘The DeAndre Way” is releasing November 30 on Interscope Records. Look out for the new singles and music videos for ‘Mean Mug’ featuring 50 Cent, ‘Speakers Going Hammer’ and ’30 Thousand 100 Million.’

Rappers Drake and Lil Wayne recently discussed their upcoming appearances at Hot 97's Summer Jam 2011 concert taking place next month in New Jersey.

This year, the New York radio station's annual concert features artists like Birdman, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Dipset, Waka Flocka Flames, Lloyd Banks and Friends and others.

“One of the greatest events of the year is HOT 97’s Summer Jam," Drake said. "When I was performing there, it was probably like one of the most overwhelming experiences of my life, but I can’t wait to come back and kill it."

Performing in front of 50,000 people during Hot 97's Summer Jam concert can be intimidating to an artist of any caliber, including Lil Wayne, who has graced the stage several times throughout the years

“Hot 97's Summer Jam is different from any other concert…to me it’s the Hip-Hop Woodstock,” Lil Wayne said. “The electricity from the crowd is different, there’s so many people out there.  There were people as far as my eyes could see and honestly I got a little nervous, because I was a special guest so when I ran out there I didn’t know it was that many people out there. Like Whoa!”

Hot 97's Summer Jam takes place on June 5th at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey. Tickets range from $45 for general entry, to $200 for VIP packages.

Reps for Lauryn Hill have denied recent reports that the world renown rapper/singer is reuniting with The Fugees for the Haitian Presidential inauguration today (May 14th) in Haiti.

President Michel "Sweet Mickey" Martelly, 50, was sworn in on the lawn of the collapsed, National Palace in Port-Au-Prince.

Reports suggested Hill would be performing at the ceremony with former group members Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel.

"It was recently erroneously reported in the press that Ms. Lauryn Hill was set to re-unite with The Fugees for an event at the Haitian presidential inauguration on Saturday, May 14th," a rep for Hill told AllHipHop.com in statement. "This performance announcement was unfortunately false, as Ms. Hill is currently on tour in the U.S. and will be performing in Santa Barbara, California that evening. Any reports to the contrary in the press are incorrect.

Lauryn Hill sent her best wishes to her fans in Haiti, and said she would be performing there in the near future.

In April, Martelly trounced his competition in a second round of voting, after accusations of fraud and voter intimidation in the original November election.

The corruption forced a run off in March, in which Martelly received 68% of the votes.

As President of Haiti, Martelly has vowed to build a new army, reduce the poverty and most importantly - start the reconstruction of the tiny country - which was devastated by a massive earthquake in January of 2010 that killed over 200,000 people.

Be next to rise in the world of Hip Hop. Click Here to get the BluePrint....Hip Hop Early

(AllHipHop News) Mobb Deep electrified thousands of fans when they gave their first performance in over three years at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square in New York on Thursday (May 12th).

AllHipHop.com caught up with the veteran duo backstage, where they gave fans an update on the progress of their their highly anticipated album, the first since the group's 2006 album Blood Money.

"We working on it, me and Hav in the studio everyday going hard," Prodigy told AllHipHop.com. "We are not going to put nothing out there that is not crazy, because right now it is not a game, you know what I mean? We understand the importance of putting something that is going to stand the test of time right now."

While Mobb Deep was on hiatus, group member Havoc put in production work on a number of high profile projects, which earned him a Grammy Award for his work on Eminem's seventh studio album, Recovery.
"I did that thing for Eminem and he won the Grammy and all, so you know I got the Grammy on the mantle," Prodigy told AllHipHop.com. "Got a new one on the new project he [Eminem] is doing with Royce Da 5'9. I just did something for Ludacris.  And you know I am going to be hitting 50 [Cent] off because he is coming out with a new joint."

In addition to production from Havoc, Mobb Deep revealed the album will feature a number of producers, including The Alchemist, while Nas is the only confirmed guest on the album as of press time.

The trio of Queensbridge, New York rappers recently ended a 10-year dispute with Nas that resulted in the track "Dog S**t."

"Him and P, you know, talked out their differences, which really wasn't nothing at all," Havoc told AllHiphop.com. "Just a couple of misunderstandings and it was back to work…he just hollered at him, you know he was real receptive to the conversation. Sent him a track, he sent it back, there you go."

Ms. Cat, Open For Business [Eye Candy]

Don’t mistake Catya “Ms. Cat” Washington for your average reality show chick. The former Bad Girls Club cast member may turn heads with her bump, but it’s her non-stop grind that has her five steps ahead of the rest of the chicks in the game. Since getting a taste of the industry while dating Beanie Sigel in college, the Philly native has made a name for herself as a video model, reality star and former XXL Eye Candy. But if her plans for 2011 are any indication, she’s only just begun. By the end of the year, Cat intends to add actress, designer and founder of a modeling agency to her already stacked resumé. The hottie hustler took a quick break from her grind to tell us why regular dudes don’t have a shot with her, who she thinks the baddest bitch in Reality TV is and why she pulled out a box cutter on G-Unit during a video shoot. —Calvin Stovall
XXLMag.com: What have you got coming up for 2011?
Ms. Cat: Right now I’m shooting a feature film – Must be the Music – directed by Charles Dutton starring Jadakiss, Trina, Tariq from the Roots and Snoop from The Wire. It’s like an all-star cast. The movie is actually about the movie industry. It’s awesome. I’m also doing a play called Single Black Female, which I’ll be doing May 7th. I’m [working on] my own reality project, which I won’t talk too much about, I’m writing a book [called], Memoirs of a Bad Girl, which will be being published soon. As well as starting my own modeling agency. I’m doin’ a lot of different things these days. I’m also doing music. Somewhere between rap and pop. It’s kinda hip-hop, but you know, not too hardcore. I’m not trapping and all that. I have a single out called “Just Walk,” which they can find on my website, www.catwashington.com.
XXL: A movie and a play? Do you have any kind of acting background or is this something you’re just now dipping into?
Ms. Cat: No, I’ve actually been like in a few indie films. But this is my first major film. The main character Charles Benton, I play his daughter. It’s an awesome script, too. We’ve been shooting for like a month now.
XXL: Your fellow BGC alum Natalie Nunn has been acting out lately. What are your thoughts on her?
Ms. Cat: Well, I don’t know Natalie to really speak on her character. I don’t really know too much about Natalie. So I don’t know. I know we all did the show, but I don’t really address other females. Kind of like a non-factor. Isn’t that what Evelyn said? Bitches are a non-mother-fucking-factor. Yeah, something like that. Now, we can talk about her…
XXL: Oh, you want to talk about Evelyn from Basketball Wives?
Ms. Cat: Yeah, isn’t she gorgeous? I mean if you want to talk about bad bitches we can. But please with the Natalie stuff. That’s like, c’mon really?
XXL: Who are the baddest bitches on reality TV then?
Ms. Cat: On the reality scene, you have to understand…there’s not much to pick from. A lot of times, especially with like the Bad Girls Club, I’m one of the few who actually had a career prior to the show. Prior to the show, I did KING, Smooth, XXL, Black Men and all that kind of stuff. Most of the girls from the BGC, they’re just like scragglers that the producers just walked up on and thought, Maybe you could bring some light to the show. Like they were literally nobodies before the show. Like a lot of them were like waitresses and bartenders and that kind of situation… You know who I like? I like Tamar. Tamar Braxton… I like her, she’s adorable. Just her overall personality. She got that, “I’ma bad bitch, so what?” thing kind of going on. She got a lot of sisters and so do I. She’s dope. Everlyn’s hot. Everybody else: Ehhhh, not so much.
XXL: You’ve been in some high profile videos, what’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you on a set?
Ms. Cat: The craziest thing that’s ever happened to me was on the set of a 50 Cent video. It was called “Feel Good…” And that was like a crazy experience. What happened was, we were all chillin’ – we were at 50’s house. Some of his entourage was throwing girls in the pool— it was like funny, you know. So one of the guys walked up to me and was like, “Say something!” And I was like, “What?” So I went in my bag and I had this box cutter. I pulled it out. But I ain’t say nothing, I just pulled it out. So he was like, “Ohhh, this bitch is crazy!” And he was like, “Where are you from?” And I was like, “I’m from Philly.” And then that whole they day they kept bringing it up like, “She Philly, she crazy. Leave her alone, leave her alone.” And then out of nowhere me and Yayo started talkin’ and he was like, “They got to fuckin’ with you, huh?” And I was like, “Nah, it was cool.” He was like, “I heard you pulled out on somebody.” I was just like, “Yeah.” It was like the funniest thing ever. I had to tell ‘em like, I’m really not for the bullshit. Please don’t touch me because I will cut somebody in this bitch. And ever since then, we all just been super cool. That was my first video, actually.
XXL: What advice can you give to aspiring Eye Candies to not get eaten alive in this game?
Ms. Cat: Only thing I can really say is to not be sidetracked with the rappers. Always know that the money is the motive. You can suck a dick any day, all day, but the money is supposed to be the motive. Stay focused on that. Some of these girls get kinda caught up in the— I just heard a story recently. A chick was saying that a rapper had told her to fly out to do his video. And my thing is this, if you want me to do your video, you’re paying me right? Why would I fly out for free? And they get sidetracked with the fact that, “Oh, well he personally invited me.” If he really likes you, then he’ll cut you a check. People get kind of sidetracked with the whole he personally invited me thing. Well, (he) can personally cut you a check.  [Girls] get caught up in the hype of what’s goin’ on and not what they’re supposed to be focused on, and what they’re supposed to be focused on is the dollar… I don’t do the whole advice. People are grown, you do what you wanna do. Just be able to handle the backlash. And if you’re fucking rappers at least have your rent be paid. Don’t do it and you’re on Section 8. That’s not a good look.
XXL: So what should these ladies be doing to get tight like you for the summer?
Ms. Cat: Work out everyday. If I’m watching TV, every commercial I do crunches. That’s probably the best fitness tip I can tell people because sometimes time doesn’t permit us to work out the way we want to.
XXL: Do regular (non-industry) dudes have a shot when they approach you?
Ms. Cat: Not really. When they say people in the industry only deal with people in the industry, it’s true ‘cause it’s just convenient. If you on set 19 hours a day and you have a boyfriend who works at the bank, he’s not gonna understand. And you’re on set with stars all day. It makes men really insecure. So, like a lot of times no one wants to end up dealing with people in the industry, but you just do because they understand. So it’s sort of like the gift and the curse. They might be just as busy as you, so you don’t really get a chance to enjoy them or your relationship.
XXL: Word is you are coming out with your own line of cat suits. Why?
Ms. Cat: Because I look amazing in cat suits, and every time I wear one I get thousands of people who are like, “Woah, where did that come from?” So, me and my business partner are teaming together to make an entire line of them. They’re hot and sexy and fun. You know, little cute club outfits, for videos, stuff like that. I like fun easy stuff, I don’t like anything too serious.
XXL: Well can we say that you are open to the possibility of being on future reality shows?
Ms. Cat: I am open to everything if it’s about a check.
XXL: You might want to be careful about saying that. You might get some crazy offers when people read that.
Ms. Cat: [Laughs] Well, we’re not talking porn. Let’s put that on the record. You will never see me in porn. Negative. Some people get in this industry just for the fame. But the fame does not pay the bills at the end of the day. So, I’m not saying to take anything just for the sake of being paid, hell no. You supposed to know your worth. That’s one of the things I always used to say on the show. Men know their worth and women, we should know ours. So no, there’s certain things I will not do. I mean, don’t get it twisted, don’t think people have not approached me to do shit like that. Like the craziest stuff.
XXL: What’s the wildest request you’ve gotten?
Ms. Cat: [I] always get the message to my booking e-mail, “We want to book you for a party.” I give them the rate and tell ‘em, “Where’s the venue, how many people?” And then they say something crazy like, “The Ritz-Carlton, four people—” and I’m like “What? [Laughs] What did you just say? Listen sir, serious inquiries only. No thank you. C’mon, there’s people you can hire who would love to do that for you, but it’s definitely not me.”

Lisa Raye: Money, Power & Sex

We’ve had our eye on Lisa Raye’s many talents since Players Club, so we jumped at the chance to talk to the beautiful actress and former First Lady of Turks & Caicos about the new season of TV One’s The Real McCoy, working on the Queen Latifah-produced film and original series Single Ladies and her new role managing her daughter Kai’s modeling career. The Chicago stunner also spilled a few things about sister Da Brat’s recent release from prison, how Lil’ Kim and Tupac figured in her evolution as a hip-hop sex symbol and whether or not she’d let a rapper romance her. Is she still using what she has to get what she wants? Blessed with a body like that, we wouldn’t blame her if she is.—Janeé Bolden

XXLMag.com: In trailer for your new season we saw you talk about meeting TD Jakes and trying to live a more spiritual life – not drink or have sex and you were struggling with that. How is that going?

Lisa Raye: Yep. I’m still struggling with it. I’ve definitely worked on my relationship with God and TD Jakes definitely sat me down and said to me, ‘Let me have a conversation with you young lady, because you have no right to think of yourself in unhappy terms. Get out of your own way. Shake it up and shake it off.’ Sometimes you need somebody to put their foot down and that’s what he did for me. I said let me get out of my own way. Let me give it to God and see what he can do with it. That’s what I’ve been doing ever since… and I’ve struggled with it. But I want to live right, I want know what my purpose is, I want to know what my passion is, I want to know the things I’ve done wrong so I can do it right. If we have that opportunity, and we do everyday, to change it, why in the heck wouldn’t we? That’s a whole different story that I have to add to the story on top of the story that I’m telling about women coming together and moving through no matter what the hell you go through.

XXL: On the first season of The Real McCoy everyone was able to see how close you are with your daughter, there was even some controversy about you kissing up on her…

Lisa Raye: That hasn’t changed. I’m still kissing on her and I will forever kiss on her because if you don’t show kids love, they don’t know how to receive love. That’s the love of my life along with my mom and my puppy Diamond, so that right there will never change. Actually I’ve found new ways to get kisses from her, which is in second season as well. I think every parent who has a relationship with their child understood that. For every person that didn’t understand, there was double that did.

XXL: Were you able to visit Da Brat while she was behind bars? Do you still have a close relationship?
Lisa Raye: I took the cameras up to visit my sister during the first season [of The Real McCoy.] They wouldn’t allow me to bring the cameras inside, but yes I had to come visit her because when you’re locked up you have to be in touch with the outside world. That’s my sister and there is love there and I had to lay eyes on her and let her know that I was supportive and that we make mistakes but I couldn’t wait for her to come out and I’d be here with open arms, which is exactly what I was. It’s just a blessing that I’m filming here in Atlanta so when she got out, I’m here. She’s on house arrest and I see her and we talk and we Twitter and we love. I’m just glad that she just has a different perspective on life as well. She’ll be back out here brand new and I can’t wait until she comes out with some new stuff so I can support that as well.
XXL: You’re in Atlanta filming Single Ladies. That starts as a movie right, then continues a TV show?
Lisa Raye: The writer for the project is Stacy A. Littlejohn and she was a writer on my sitcom All of Us. She wrote the script for a movie Single Ladies and sold it to Queen Latifah and they took it over to VH1. She had me in mind for this character named Keisha. She’s a video vixen and she is opinionated, she’s sassy, she is the devil’s advocate to the series. She’s funny, but she’s a mirror image of the powerful man that’s out there that’s looking for a mate. She doesn’t play any games, she has money. We’re dealing with issues that we as women deal with every day, but each character deals with it in a different way so you’ll have a girlfriend that will be able to identify with each character. That’s what’s so fun about it, it’s like a modern urban Sex And The City. There is nothing on TV like this. So I am very excited about it. It’s shot in Atlanta. It’s rich, it’s positive it’s hot. It’s sexy. I have Stacey Dash as a co-star on there as well, Charity Shea is on there and Lauren London. It turns into a series after the movie airs May 30th.

Tahiry: Enough Drama for Reality TV

Although she suffered a tough loss to Melyssa Ford in the second round of XXL’s The Baddest Chick in the Game Tournament, Tahiry José still maintains her spot as one of the most desirable vixens in hip-hop, not to mention one of the sassiest.
As if the numbers, 34-26-43 weren’t enough to make a grown man cry, the Dominican bombshell continues to prove why she is a big deal, a very big deal. Currently on the cusp of releasing an athletic wear line, among a number of other projects, the Harlemite is determined to become more than just a video vixen. XXLMag.com recently caught up with Ms. José to discuss a range of topics including her business ventures, her future as video model, and of course her take on the VH1’s reality show, Love & Hip-Hop. — Ralph Bristout
XXLMag.com: What have you been up to lately?
Tahiry José: I’ve been finishing with calendars then going and having my pre-release parties and I’m dealing now going back and forth with my athletic line for women. It’s called Fit By Tahiry Females In Training because I’m always in training. I’m not the pro, but I know it works in what I do and when I need to get ready. A lot of my fans ask me on Twitter what is it that I do to stay thick and not lose the booty and keep it all together. So, in doing that you know I teamed up with Angerwear and I’m coming out with like my Yoga pads, sports bras, tank tops, and something really comfortable and affordable for women to work out in.
XXL: When is that going to hit stores?
Tahiry: Well, right now we’re in the process of approving the last bits and pieces of everything that I want in it, so in about two months it’ll be probably ready.
XXL: Are you gonna appear in any hip-hop videos soon?
Tahiry: I just actually did a video, [DJ] Enuff has an artist. It’s French. Jobere is his name. He’s a rapper. Jim Jones is featured and so is Pusha T. I just did that you know. Me and Enuff go back 10 years, so why not do that video. So far, I don’t know about hip-hop videos. I don’t really consider myself a hip-hop video vixen or a video girl to begin with. I’m more like a personality.
XXL: You did a couple though?
Tahiry: I did, absolutely. Of course, first video [was] 50 Cent; second video, Fat Joe and [Young] Jeezy. Of course I’ma do certain videos, but do I consider myself a video vixen? No.
XXL: What rap video wouldn’t you do?
Tahiry: : Anything that I have to drop it like it’s hot, put it in a glass with oil. Like, I’m not the drop-it-like-it’s-hot girl, I’m not the girl that you’ll ever catch in the tub just feeling herself. We good. I’m the girl with the mouth, but I just look good in a thong.
XXL: Have you seen Love & Hip-Hop on VH1?
Tahiry: Abso-fucking-lutely I’m a fan. I’m a fucking fan! Well first off, I’m a fiend, I literally just watch Reality TV shows. Second of all, it’s the first show that I think we have after Basketball Wives. I think that Love & Hip-Hop is the one show that people that love hip-hop and just like the whole urban thing [have]. We didn’t have anything, everything [is] Jersey Shore. You know, we don’t see them shows in the projects so we have Love & Hip-Hop. I believe every one of these girls [is] somebody [women] could relate to and their struggles. There’s always a chick at home and nigga doing what he doing, living the life and [she's] unhappy; and there’s always a chick who wants to be famous and drops everything to come to New York. You know, everybody has a story, so I’m a fan.
XXL: Would you appear on a show like that?
Tahiry: I thought about it while watching it. I’m having a problem with Reality TV shows period right now because it’s more about beefing. I mean of course everybody wants to see the train wrecks, we get it, you know what I’m saying. It went from being allowing somebody into your home and allowing people to see certain things, even if it’s scripted somewhat, to now everybody’s fucking acting a fool and fighting and acting crazy. I think first episode, you speak to me a certain way, I think that that’s it, hello Bad Girl’s Club. So, would I be in it? It all depends. But, just follow me around and I have enough drama so I don’t even have to pretend.

Halie: The Baddest VH1 Reality Chick

Hot and humble. That might be the best way to describe Heather “Halie” Scoggins, from VH1’s Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch. Upon learning that she took the top spot on XXL’s 50 Baddest Reality Chicks list last week, Halie accepted the adulation modestly.
“I’m very happy,” said the half-black, half-white curvaceous 24-year-old model and video vixen, who splits time between Atlanta and Miami. “I found out just from Twitter. I guess it got re-tweeted.”
The 36D-25-41 (yes, 41)- measuring stunner adds that the fact that VH1’s reality shows have casted beautiful women throughout the years and she was still named No. 1 only sweetens the deal.
“Yeah, it makes it even better,” Scoggins said. “There was some pretty girls, especially on For The Love of Ray J. All of the shows had some pretty girls. Caviar (from For the Love of Ray J) was pretty. Hoops (from Flavor of Love) was definitely very pretty. Rubi from our show was a pretty girl. All the shows had attractive girls, so I guess it’s personal taste. It’s definitely interesting to see how the staff rated. I was No. 7 on (The Ultimate Catch). I wasn’t my normal self on the show. I’m happy people can look deeper and past the show.”
After winning the crown on XXL’s list, she has her sights set on another goal: acting. Having already done modeling for T.I.’s Akoo clothing line and appearing in music videos for the likes of Trey Songz and Nicki Minaj (“Bottoms Up“), DJ Khaled (“All I Do is Win“) and Jamie Foxx (“Blame It“), Scoggins says she loves modeling, but would like to transition into the acting world, even if it’s behind the scenes (although we’re sure the fellas hope she’s in front of the cameras).
“I definitely want to work on the next step, broaden my horizons,” Scoggins said. “I would love to do something behind the scenes on a VH1 show or any show or act. That’s my ultimate goal.”
The kind of work Caviar – who’s now starring in adult films – is doing, we ask? “No,” Scoggins says, “not that kind.” —Mark Lelinwalla
Eye Candy Vital Stats
Relationship Status: Single.
Favorite Car: Lambos are always sexy! To drive, Range Rover.
Celebrity Crush: Lance Gross.
Dream Date: A horse & carriage ride to a romantic dinner on the water.
Something odd about me is… “I grew up in the country.”
When I’m stressed, I like to… “Workout or read, definitely spend time alone.”
I’m eye candy because… “of my natural curves, unique face and outgoing personality.”

Soulja Boy Invited To Audition For Tupac Biopic Role

For all new rappers trying to come in the game and need that exposure or information click on

Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy sure knows how to get Hip-Hop heads riled up. When it was announced that Soulja was taking on the task of revisting the role of Bishop in the film "Juice" heads immediately began to target the Atlanta native. Never one to fold under a cloud of controversy, the SODMG founder moved forward his with plans putting the film in full-production. To add further insult to injury (at least amongst the critics), Soulja revealed that he's been solicited to audition for the upcoming biopic to play the role of Tupac Shakur. Fall out of your chair, rap fans.
During yesterday's edition of RapFix Live, Young Bishop, as Sway referred to him, called into the show via skype to reveal the news.
"I got an email from William Morris Agency — that's my agency that I'm with — they reached out to me to play the part. I'm just still thinking about it right now," Soulja told Sway. "Even with the whole 'Juice' movie, I'm playing a part that Tupac played, but I'm not actually playin' 'Pac. When it comes to this, I'm actually gonna be playin' 'Pac, so I'm really still just thinkin' about it. But I'm just honored that they would reach out to me and ask me anyway."
While Soulja contemplates taking on the daunting task of playing the role of 'Pac, he noted that his own film was now complete.
"I shot the movie. It's done. We did a good job. It's gonna be crazy," SB said. "I'm ready for the masses to see it. I got the 'Juice' music video coming out for the official soundtrack for all the people to hype 'em up, to get everybody crunk."

Just Blaze, Soulja Boy And Saigon Set To Appear On RapFix Live

For all new rappers trying to come in the game and need that exposure or information click on

The bar on RapFix Live has been raised a few levels. Along with this week's scheduled guest Saigon, who will appear on RapFix Live tomorrow (May 11) at 4 P.M. EST, it's now been revealed producer Just Blaze will join his Fort Knox artist with show host Sway Calloway. But it doesn't stop there. Atlanta young mogul in the making Soulja Boy will also be on RapFix Live to talk about his highly controversial film project "Juice."
Last week's "RapFix Live" was filled with fireworks and controversy after visits from Lil B, Pharoahe Monch and Consequence, and this week looks to be just as exciting.
Locked up as a youth, Sai got his rapping start in the NYC mixtape scene in the early 2000s. After a memorable street run, Saigon compiled the best of his mixtape material on the independent retail release Warning Shots in 2004. The MC would later hook up with hip-hop super-producer Just Blaze, sign to Atlantic Records and see his official debut LP, The Greatest Story Never Told, become one of rap's most anticipated releases. Aside from the music, Sai made a few headlines as well. He landed a recurring role in HBO's hit series "Entourage" and beefed with Mobb Deep's Prodigy.
Unfortunately, TGSNT saw years of delay. After a ton of label drama, Saigon was eventually released from Atlantic. Undeterred, the Yardfather would march on, and in February he finally put out The Greatest Story Never Told independently on Suburban Noize. According to Saigon, the album remained pretty much intact and fans now have the work that he intended to release on Atlantic.
The Greatest Story Never Told features production from Just Blaze, Buckwild and Kanye West, and collaborations with Jay-Z, Faith Evans and Bun B. Despite the delay, TGSNT has been met with a positive critical response and respectable indie sales.
Producer Just Blaze rose to fame as one of the in-house boardsmen for the now-defunct Roc-a-Fella Records. In addition to producing for Jay-Z and the rest of the Roc roster, Just has lent his platinum touch to tracks by T.I., Maino and Eminem. Just also served as the executive producer of Sai's The Greatest Story Never Told.
